Jummy Kirby Claim

Jummy is a licensed professional counselor who obtained her master’s degree in professional counseling psychology, summa cum laude, from Rosemont College. She has over 10 years of experience with behavioral health services and over 5 years of experience in counseling children, individuals, and families. She believes that you are the expert on your own life, and she is genuinely interested in your experiences and your goals. She relies on elements of CBT and mindfulness, and counsels from a person-centered and strength-based perspective. When working with families, she uses the family systems-based approach. She is able to assist clients in exploring the past, creating peace in the present, and maintaining consistency for the future. She also works eclectically to suit the needs of each individual.

Her areas of interest are working with clients around issues such as self-esteem, body image, depression, trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and social/behavioral concerns. You will work with Jummy in a safe, caring, and confidential environment. The goal is to explore your beliefs, feelings, or behaviors, identify aspects of your life that you would like to change, work through challenging or influential memories, and better understand yourself and others. Jummy will assist in setting personal goals and working toward the change you desire
